"When I speak of the gifted listener, I am speaking of the nonmusician, primarily. Of the listener who intends to maintain his amateur status. It is the thought of just such a listener that excites the composer in me."

-Aaron Copland

Here are clips from some of my work that I have recorded over the last few years. They are all my compositions except for Dream On which I arranged for electric strings.

Please contact me at  Compositions@RosieRion.com if you have any questions about my work or want further information on these pieces.

Here is a clip of the quartet I wrote during my freshman year at Syracuse and was lucky enough to have read by the Cassatt Quartett. It was inspired by a guitar riff written by my brother. (Main riff used with permission.) It was read and recorded by the Cassatt in 2006.

This is a clip of a piece I wrote during my senior year of high school. I performed it at a school board meeting to help stress the importance of music in high school education. I recorded it in my home studio in 2005.

Rocktet in C   Healing

Here are three excerpts from a piece I wrote mostly during the summer between my junior and senior years of high school. I recorded it with my friend, Emily Cole, in 2005.

This is a clip of a song I arranged for my high school band, Mango!, which made its name covering classic rock songs using an electric string trio with drums. We recorded it at Nevessa Studios in Woodstock in 2005.

Duet for Piano & Cello in Cm   Dream On

This cello duet was written originally for two electric cellos, although it has yet to be performed that way. This recording was done by me and my friend, Emily Elkin, during a performance at Syracuse University in 2007.

This is two excerpts from the first movement of a symphony I started in my sophmore year of high school. This recording was done by the SUNY New Paltz Orchestra in 2005. It was also performed by my high school orchestra in 2006.
